I need to vent…I see so many posts about people wanting to kill themselves, starve themselves, hurt themselves, etc.  Trust me, I get it…I’ve been there.  I have a depression/anxiety disorder.  I know what it’s like. BUT, there are so many people who would be there if someone would just say they need help!  Everyone’s life is too precious to destroy! I know the loneliness.  But, we are never truly alone.  SOMEONE is always there.  It may be in person, it may be online, but someone is there!  PLEASE reach out when you’re down on yourself instead of all these posts about destroying yourself.  No one can fix your problems, but we can all be there with you as you deal with them!  Instead of destroying yourself, let those who accept you into your life and stop pushing them away.

I am so close to deleting my account because when I see my dashboard, it depresses me so much.  That’s why I’m not on as much as I used to be!  

If you’re one of my followers, you can always message me when you need help!  I promise I will get back to you.  It may not be quick, but I promise I will!

Please know that all religious people are not this closed minded!  Just like any “group” we can’t neatly be put into 1 category.  In fact I find some other Christians to be more dangerous than any atheist/agnostic/or person from another religious group I’ve met.  Just for the record - I support LGBTQ rights to marry, be in the military (that’s hard for me since I’m a pacifist, but it’s everyone’s right), be ordained clergy, and any other right “straight” people have.  If you’re going to argue against me, and you have every right to do so, you just better know what you’re talking about or I won’t waste my time with a response!  People are People - Gay, Straight, Bisexual, Black, Asian, White, and so on

I’m not a Catholic, but I respect the office of the Pope at least as far as it pertains to Catholics and as a kind of “figure-head” to Christianity.  When I heard this homily at the Christmas Eve Mass, I almost started cheering and clapping from my living room!
